Dr. Jillian Muhlbauer is a board-certified pediatric dentist committed to providing compassionate and quality care to each of her patients in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.
Originally from Long Island, Dr. Muhlbauer attended Fairfield University graduating Summa Cum Laude and then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She was honored with induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society graduating among the top five in her class and awarded as the American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader.
Following graduation, Dr. Muhlbauer completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she served as Chief Resident. With her additional training, she gained valuable knowledge and experience with advanced behavioral management techniques and treatment of children and adolescents with special health care needs. She was awarded the Richard C. Pugh Award by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry after scoring in the top 3% of pediatric dentists on the 2021 pediatric dental board certification qualifying exam.
Dr. Muhlbauer is committed to staying current in the evidence-based advances in pediatric dentistry and is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Maryland State Dental Association and the Anne Arundel County Dental Society.
Dr. Muhlbauer lives in Annapolis with her husband and son. In their spare time they enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching football and traveling.
